The Fast Break - stretching

I left my desk at 1:10 p.m., filled my water jug with water and headed to the fitness room. The usual 3 business dudes were on in the zone so I changed in peace and got in the middle treadmill. I ran hard for about 10 minutes and by the time I was done they were all showered up and gone. The room was mine!

I like exercising alone so much better, I always find a good grove.

For the rest of the time I was down there I stretched. I'd say it was a good half hour. It was a great stretch and I really needed it. Stretching is my favorite part of fitness. I do a good blend of traditional positions and yoga poses. The key to stretching is holding for longer than you think.

I was back in my seat by 2:00 p.m.
